1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit to improve your experience.

2. Cookies We Use

Veltor Agenda uses essential and functional cookies, plus Google Analytics to measure service usage in aggregate. If you accept the cookie notice, we also use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

Session Cookie (PHPSESSID)

Required for logging in and maintaining your authenticated session. Without it, the service cannot function properly.

Local Storage (veltor_dark)

Stored in your browser's local storage (not a traditional HTTP cookie) to remember your dark or light mode preference. Retained until you clear browser data or it expires after one year.

CSRF Token

We store a CSRF token in your session to protect forms against Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. This is a security measure and cannot be disabled.

3. Third-Party Cookies

The third parties present in the service are:

  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.): measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that help us understand in aggregate how the service is used. You can decline them via the cookie notice or block them in your browser.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): advertising cookie that helps us measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. Only activates if you accept the cookie notice; you can decline it there or block it in your browser.
  • Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google's servers and may set Google's own cookies.
  • Stripe: if you subscribe to Veltor Premium, payment is completed on a Stripe page (checkout.stripe.com), which uses its own essential cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. Veltor does not set Stripe cookies on its domain.

4. Managing Cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data

Note: disabling the session cookie (PHPSESSID) will prevent you from logging in to the service.
